Carex Osaka

The Carex Osaka is a lovely Grasses from our range, known for its ornamental value. This plant grows to about 30 cm tall and forms a dense sod. During the flowering period, the flower stems reach approximately 40 cm. The abundant flowering occurs in the period January through February. A favorite with pollinators such as bees and butterflies. For the best result, place the Carex Osaka in partial shade or shade. The hardiness is excellent; the plant is Winterhard. Note: A cold period (vernalization) is required for good flowering.
